Pre-Xmas lunch!

headed down for lunch to Space@ My Humble House at Esplanade. great meeting up with my buddy Brian after so long.too bad he's around in SG for one week only.still...we had good time catching up.

one appetizer and two main dishes came to $80+. yummy...i had lamb chop bah kut teh with great soup. Brian had chicken abalone rice.

after this i rushed home for a quick change and off again to Wenjie's X'mas party. reached home later that night and totally concussed out. effects of going out every single day past 2 weeks. urgh. spent a nice quiet time today and am going over to stepmom's house for dinner soon. Merry X'mas all!

tiring xmas week

amy's birthday celebration at settlers' cafe with a yummy strawberry cake. strangely she won 2/3 out of the games we played hehe....

my supper to recharge for the next day. which explains my stomachache next day and inability to eat breakfasts...

went to john's xmas party last night with some yummy wine which pete drank down like a fish. no wonder he got red so fast...will be sure to post pix up once i have them. couldn't take with my cam cuz lighting was too dark. thanks john! party was a blast!

am too lazy at home, trying hard to answer emails and write xmas cards. die lah...send to people muz add "and a happy new year" cuz that's the time they'd probably receive them.

on a last note, i succumbed to mr. ralph lauren. and because of shahied's insistence that there's a 50% sale at CK...i may juz submit to mr. calvin klein too. urgh...

yippee yippe day~!

John gave me such a shock online when he told me results were released. for a second there i thought he was pulling my leg but he wasn't. and guessed what, for the 1st time ever in my whole life i got a GPA!!! haha thanks to the system they only just implemented in NTU/NIE. many thanks to Wenjie for helping this goondu me calculate it.

can't say was too happy with the results, think it was comparable with last sem's. seroiusly dont think i can do much better although for a minor blip with an expected A to B, glad to say the rest i did above expectations with lowest being a B+. hehe.

my arrested development DVDs have arrived. its so much damn cheaper this way. $S50 for two box sets, seasons 1 & 2.

met up with wenjie for makan and we went down to my optician's shop. he couldnt resist and ordered himself a new pair of specs! as for myself..i'm so eyeing a hugo BOSS one next year. so nice!

brian's coming back same day as my results release! can't wait and hope both of them will be equally good *crosses fingers*

tiring week

but happy! out everyday and sooo trying to resist shopping.esp along the orchard road stretch. really great to catch up w ppl during the hols.

met up with angela and stupid swensen's forgot my order. in return for my cancellation threats i got a free soup to pacify me and yeah it worked :P

speed demon

literally whirled around orchard in 2hrs. damage done: 1 topshop tee, 2 topshop polo tees, 3 topshop pairs of socks thrown in for good measure. to top it all off, my long awaited polo ralph lauren jeans.

things to note:

isetan service sucks (other than the boutiques).

isetan fcuk sale is a ripoff. retail price still throw into the discount bin and they dare to put the wrong price tag. nearly threw it back at the cashier when she give me blur dulan face after i said i didn't want it anymore. can buy new from CK tang at same price.

isetan lelong (bargain) corner at wisa atria basement has horrid fitting rooms about my height. the curtains cant close properly and i just suspect i saw the lady's bra next to me. eeek.

there are quite a few SG school girls my height and that's freaky. i mean, 1.8m tall of the female demographic part of society is like woah.

i forgot how tiring the MRT was. serves me right for driving around all the time. good news is, EZlink card hasnt been topped up for 5mths.

and lastly, my staying n slackin at home has rendered me fair again. eeeek!

the title juz describes the weekend..gone in a flash.

friday went rolex shopping with dad,so itching to buy a new watch again wahaha.if he buys the rolex, i buy his omega. if not i buy an oris. still waiting in anticipation...heh.

went to zara great world city, haiz damn sian..almost a travesty...nothing new...well can't blame them, its only been like less than a mth since i last went.

been sleeping less while playin more computer games. its like omg, guild wars rocks. creating a whole world online. MMORPG rocks! only thing is before i know it its 2am and i force myself to goto bed to retain my sanity.

just had a huge huge dinner at my stepmom's place. here's what i ate...no wonder my stomach feels queasy. amazing thing is that all the food is homemade.

turkey, turkey stuffing, bbq pork ribs, italian chicken, roast beef
giant otak, salmon sushi, steamed crabs

just got a whole bunch of DVDs to watch. also my aunt in texas just called as im typing this halfway. she's sending my amazon order of Arrested Development tomorrow. yay!
