life-changing experiences

so many things have happened recently, world cup not withstanding.
1) i'm now vice-president of a charity in singapore. this means more responsibilities, more directions and more effort.

2) india made me realise that sometimes we live in our own little world. we need to draw experiences from others and make the best out of it.

3) a tution kid's mother walked in late after class (i was doing some marking). it was gratifying to hear she wanted to meet and thank me because it seems her son likes my teaching much more than in his school. this kid is in my cdac lower-privileged tution group and everytime they get juz a simple question right their so way happy. for me its an accomplisment too. really enjoy teacihng them right now.

4) busily organising a charity event right now. there's a mixture of armpulling, begging, and outright doggone hard work but im happy that at the end of the day, im in this to give people a chance, spread the good word of what people need, and finally put what ive learnt over the years to good use. of course learning more each time.

an eventful week

the handsome reasons for forcing me to cut short my sikkim trip. wouldn't miss going out with them for the world cuz they come back only once a year.:) i love my old buddies!!!
