not really in a reflective mode

but definitely grateful to the Lord for all the ups he has given in the path of life this past year.

just had relatives over and had a smashing time. tons of food and chatter.

kinda tired and stoned out now after fetching them back.

so xmas came and went

new year will be here in a flash

fairly enjoyable xmas, in the company of friends and family

prezzie shopping bill wasnt as bad as i expected, resulting in more shopping this week hehe. enough for the week, im a happy boy already.

its amazing how much singaporeans shopped. pre xmas, handbags were flying off the shelves at paragon stores, gucci dior etc. post xmas, juz heard about the isetan sale. seems like there were pretty good buys. wj got his renoma wallet for ard 60...renoma sia dun play play.

i got a jacket and 2 polo tees this week. the former to reward myself for the grades :P, the latter was a purely conincidental zara walk past and seeing the big plastered word SALE. thank god i din linger ard longer, was rushing to esplanade.

so was with wj for an esplanade a-capella performance, budak pantai. their superbly talented with their original and amended compositions. really makes me wish i cld sing and play the guitar heh. but then id hv to give up the silent brooding image lol....

school's starting soon. tution too. just a little bit more wining and dining till the rush of life settles in. still open to outside makan though as i suspect will lose weight during the sem as per usual.

sadly with all the xmas meats and holiday makan, im a lil puffier and heavier now. added 2-3kgs and the tummy is noticeably harder now but not with muscles bleah.

as a result, i stepped into my condo's gym yesterday for a workout and am cutting back in suppers. surprisingly the cardio resistance cycling wasnt as bad as i thought. no aches or pains today lol.

on a final note, i was just clearing my wardrobe, i mean chinese new yr is coming round after all. its a lil unsettling to see the amt of clothes to donate away. some were gifts but they really didn't and don't fit me, juz hanging around for a yr or two waiting to be thrown out.

woke up to see the sun shining.

on hindsight maybe i was too hasty.

but the timing wasnt right.

the first thought in my mind this morning was that yeah we can connect.

though she is polite to a fault

an older more jaded me cannot take time to dig deeper.

similar character, and its not delusional this time.

still, i fly away with no more shackles on my feet.

i believe in what God has planned for me.

dinner at japanese restaurant of the pines aka pinetree country club.

air flown sashimi-salmon,tuna,clams,cod, delightfully lightly battered tempura, kobe beef, and an assortment of other japanese cuisine.

pumpkin pudding with some weird ass jap sauce for dessert.

yummmm....gastronomy heaven

sure got nightmare tonight, prob swordfish after me for revenge.

monday - jb seafood and shopping

tue - "open season" movie, "the village" dinner, coffee club ice cream plus shopping

wed - personal shopping ard orchard plus braving evening 1hr aye-ecp jam from jurong to marine parade. met auntie maria from perth and some relatives for dinner,my cousins are real big now!

thu - today. dim sum high tea buffet later.prob shopping.

all this wining,dining, gai-gai'ing has been damn tiring on my body. cant keep my eyes awake late night, and been sleeping more than usual. still, its blessed to have good company with friends.

got some great deals this week. 291 episodes of nostalgic dragonball, and a levis tee from jb that was so much cheaper than sg.

shopping with bub...bought sandals and shoes....*happy*....haha...

had a pleasant surprise when i reached home, my income tax got refunded with a cheque in d mail, so the small hole in d pocket got magically mended. whoopie!!!

so out i then went to watch Casino Royale. ok only lah i guess. i still prefer pierce brosnan and all his gadgets. so what if daniel crag got his b**** crushed, give me a high tech car showdown anyday heh. did seem that daniel craig was flirting too much.

had a weird ass dream last night. i dreamt i was dating jessica simpson with her hot shorts a-la Dukes of Hazzard. only prob is she came along with a dysfunctional hillbilly country family whose dad didnt like me wahaha. i woke up to check for drool but thankfully there wasnt any.

went for another walk walk around jurong east central, being forced (happily i might add) to deposit my cheque. man, the posb queue is sooo long and sooo full of aunties/kids/china pple. was boring standing ard so to humour myself i juz heard their speech, so many different accents!

came home to bring brite baby for a walk walk, kinda sad to see him so old liao. he doesnt walk as fast as last time but he still plugs on, refusing to sit down and rest. well he is over 10 yrs old but will always be my big baby. hehe

so a pretty quiet weekend, not many more to go before school starts. gotta go search for a doggie dish for brite and prob pop in some dvds to watch.

zouked. but no morning hangover, juz a lil bit of cig smoke on d breath.

yup, i went...5 years of postponement and there i was. took me a super long time to warmup to the place, but at the end of it all the fact remains i cant dance wahahaha. thats d prob with being a goalkeeper, ur movements are restricted to outbursts of hand motion a-la diving to save the ball. the legs,ass and arms arent really accustomed to coordinated fluid motion.

still, it was nice to chill, rant, drink and smoke (not blow off some steam). not that its gonna be a habit. i still like my atas, homely lifestyle thank u very much haha.

think its getting routine, waking up on friday morning to nua haha.
anyway woke up today and for the first time in a long while...i realise im staring into a black hole of nothingness for dec. whoopie. no youth camps, no school, no overseas trips, just plenty of nuaing.

paper wasnt too bad yesterday, was quite well prepared unlike the 1st one, got time go walkwalk to toilet somemore haha. still, nose was pretty bad, made a lotta wontons during the paper. magically the runny nose stopped after the paper.

i think im starting to like my long hair heh. can keep it waving ard instead of gelling it down. tricky business though heh. still, nothing much else to preoccupy myself with other than shopping. dun really feel like travelling. perhaps i'll occasionally meet up with relatives. coupla relatives coming down from perth so its gonna be a big and long family december. still undecided how much i'll go.

aim for hols: long drives, maybe to changi village. really miss long drives. sushi and dimsum buffets to gain weight, not like i can really gain. hmm and shopping of course heee
